It’s been a week since VKL NYC happened! And I’ve almost recovered 😉
I had never been to a Vogue Knit Live event before, so I was thrilled to get the chance, but even more so because I was asked to teach and share my love of natural colour! And what an amazing time I had!
The students were fanstastic and, as always, they brought new thoughts and inspiration to the dye pots which have given me all sorts of ideas to try! I particularly loved our all day indigo class, as the magic of Indigo is hard to ignore! It was fun to introduce bundle dyeing on sock blanks, and I can’t wait to see the results of these blanks knitted up! We had great fun applying the same techniques to silk scarves too.
It was such a fun and busy weekend I didn’t get to take many photos or spend too much time out and about, but those that I did manage to spend time with filled my cup right up. It’s always fun to travel and spend time with students, but likewise to share precious time with friends in the industry! Thanks for having me VKL!
