The momentum of casting on

All knitters love to cast on something new onto their needles. I’m pretty sure of that fact.
Another thing I’m pretty certain of is the guilt us knitters have when new family members have gone 6, no? 7… I mean, 8 months without a gift of something ridiculously cute, soft and hand knit from their knitter relative.

Enter the Clara Dress*…

One final thing I’m sure of… is that when us knitters cast on something that is really small, soft and cute we want to be knitting it every second of the day…. or, if that is not feasible, on the porch, in the sun, after a loooooong day.

Seriously, its such an amazing dress… go see!

*I ummed and ahhhed about getting this pattern for so long. A billion people have knit it before me [remember seeing it in the Soak advert?] but it is only available through Isager on their website as a kit. Yes, you have to buy two skeins of yarn [which I didn’t want] for a ‘free’ copy of the Clara Dress pattern….so I’m glad I am enjoying it as much as I am!!! And well, how could I not buy it when my sister-in-law fell in love with the pattern more than I did!

  1. Very lucky baby!

    Please, no guilt!

It’s coming along so quickly! Did you end up using the yarn that came with the dress?
