kbf : knit in the front, and then in the back of next st

k2tog : knit the next two sts together

ssk : slip next 2 sts knitwise, one at a time, insert left needle tip through both front loops and k2tog

yo : yarn over

c2b :slip the next 2 sts onto a cable needle and hold at back of work, k2 from left-hand needle, then k2 sts from cable needle.

c3f : slip the next 3 sts onto cable needle and hold cable needle at the front of your work. Continue to k3 from your left hand needle, then k3 from the cable needle
