A sister pattern to the hat Bud, I’m super excited to release Buddleia, an infinity scarf showcasing the same gorgeous stitch pattern. Wear it around your neck, over your shoulders, or wrapped around twice for extra warmth, this beauty is so versatile! With the ability to dress it up or down, I have a feeling this knit will be a staple in my closet as the cooler weather rolls in.
I worked my Buddleia in Hedge Nettle from the Summer Collection. I love the colour, which is bright and cheery but still carries the pastel of plant dyes – it adds a natural warmth to any outfit. I’m sorry that I cannot pose a serious ‘model’ photo! I try every time… But I’ve decided that life isn’t meant to be that serious anyway! I decided to name the pattern buddleia as it was an obvious name to match the ‘Bud’ pattern from which the name was influence by the stitch pattern, but also because I was working this design as the beautiful Buddleias came to life in my garden – I’m photographed in front of them [although they are now turning and a little less bright and vibrant as they once were].
The pattern is written and charted, and available via etsy or ravelry!
